Description: 
The coach provides leadership and expertise regarding the rules, strategies, and techniques for the assigned activity, utilizing knowledge of the specific equipment, physical fitness, and safety to prepare participants mentally and physically to compete at the highest level.
Assistant Coach Job Requirements:
Under the direction of the Head Coach and Activities Director, the successful applicant will possess the following traits, skills, and knowledge:
 Positive attitude and strong work ethic
 Effective communicator with students and adults
 Experience working with high school and middle school students
 Strong knowledge of basketball techniques and performances
 Thorough understanding of MSHSL basketball rules
 Available afternoons and evenings on all weekdays and occasional weekends during the season
 Completed and approved district background check
