Job Title: Head JV Girls Basketball Coach

Location: Crestwood High School

Position Summary

Ebenezer Middle School is seeking a motivated and student-centered Head JV Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop a competitive program that emphasizes academic success, character development, and athletic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the girls basketball program (sub-varsity).
  • Plan and conduct practices, implement game strategies, and support year-round development.
  • Monitor academic progress and ensure eligibility compliance.
  • Maintain compliance with district and South Carolina High School League regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration.
  • Supervise student-athletes at all events and coordinate team travel.

Qualifications

  • Previous basketball coaching experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and program development.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student-athlete academic and character development.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to transport student-athletes as needed.
  • Ability to meet district and state certification requirements.
