Department: Basketball Operations

Supervisor: Vice President, Facilities & Engineering

Job Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full Time


Summary:

We are seeking a capable operations and event logistics coordinator to support smooth facility operations and seamless event execution. Reporting to the VP of Facilities and Engineering, this role supports reception, guest experience, loading dock coordination, inventory, vendors, and event logistics. This individual will be the primary point of contact at the Auerbach Center facility for all event logistics from setup to breakdown. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, calm under pressure, and available for event coverage on nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily facility operations, delivering an exceptional experience for players, coaches, employees, guests, and vendors
  • Coordinate front-of-house operations, including reception, facility access, deliveries, inventory, mail, and workplace supplies to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with Facilities, Security, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Food Services to maintain a secure, welcoming, and world-class environment
  • Coordinate facility logistics for meetings, practices, media sessions, and special events, support setup, teardown, room configurations, vendors, parking, security, catering, and building access
  • Provide hands-on event support from planning through execution, proactively troubleshooting operational and technology issues to ensure a flawless experience
  • Perform light facility maintenance and operational support as needed, including moving equipment and supplies, supporting court and common area readiness, and assisting with general facility cleanliness and upkeep
  • Maintain operational readiness by responding to changing priorities, supporting live activities, and ensuring the facility is prepared for daily operations and special events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, or event coordination
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement
  • Comfortable with operating basic audiovisual equipment and troubleshooting event technology
  • Availability to work extended hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays, based on practice and event schedules
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or move equipment, furniture, packages, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier items
  • Ability to set up and break down event spaces, including moving tables, chairs, staging, and other equipment
  • Ability to occasionally climb ladders and use basic hand tools to support light facility maintenance

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this/these range(s) will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market and industry considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, performance, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Hourly Rate Range: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
