JOB INFORMATION

Title: Adult Basketball Official

Classification: Officials, Part-time Seasonal

Salary Range: Starting at $40 per game.

Supervisor: Works under the supervision of the Recreation Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

Adult Basketball Official will be responsible for officiating adult basketball at local schools.

JOB DUTIES

*Know the rules specified for the league.

*Officiate all scheduled games.

*Turn in scoresheets in a timely manner.

*Report to work on time and ready to work. Absences must receive prior approval by the supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to stand for 3-5 hours at a time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 or older to apply.

Must have a background in basketball and/or basketball officiating.

The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
