HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...
As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in producing safe, high-quality food products by operating and monitoring packaging equipment. Your attention to quality, safety, equipment performance, and food manufacturing standards will help ensure products are packaged accurately and efficiently while meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...
  • Operate packaging equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Produce packaged products that meet production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure proper seals, accurate coding, legible printing, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Understand and perform machine setup, changeovers, and sanitation activities.
  • Ensure equipment is properly lubricated and maintained according to operating procedures.
  • Monitor equipment to verify products are being processed and packaged according to specifications.
  • Report product quality concerns, equipment issues, malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervision.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including around machinery and electrical panels.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all GMP, USDA, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Complete required production documentation, including downtime logs and operational records.
  • Perform light preventative maintenance activities as assigned.

Compensation
Pay: $16.55/hour
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shifts available

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
