Position: Machine Operator
Work Location: Lakeland, FL 33815
Payrate: $19-$21/hr
Duration: 3+ Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: Mon - Fri 6am-2:30pm

Job Description:

  • Set up and run manual engine lathes
  • Use calipers and micrometers to measure product
  • Comply with manufacturing and safety practices
  • Use hoists and cranes for material handling
  • Maintain communication with production team
  • Read and understand standard operating procedures and customer requirements
  • Focus on quality output

Other details:
This is more of an industrial machine operator, not like a food production type machine operator.
Qualified candidates will have basic math skills, ability to use measuring tools, and willingness to learn.
2+ years machining experience is required.
