Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responds to emergency calls for fire suppression
  • Responds to medical calls and transport
  • Responds to Hazardous material incidents
  • Operates, drive, utilizes and/or maintains various firefighting and medical equipment
  • Operate a personal computer or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions
  • Makes periodic public presentations
  • Fire safety training; develops, plans and participates in Fire prevention/safety

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. State of Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification. EMT-I or A in the State of Georgia and Basic Life Support certification. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
