Familiarity with ambulance equipment, electronic patient care reporting systems, and basic life support tools is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure help EMTs provide effective care in stressful situations. These skills and qualifications are critical for ensuring rapid, accurate, and compassionate emergency response that can save lives.
