SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position is responsible for entering data from a source document into a computer system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Performs data entry by entering information in a computer system.
2. Verifies entries for accuracy and completeness.
3. Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures.
4. Gathers invoices, statements, reports, documents and information from employees, other departments and/or clients.
5. Scans through data to identify pertinent information.
6. Corrects errors and organizes the information that will optimize quick and accurate capturing.
7. Creates accurate spreadsheets.
8. Enters and updates information into relevant databases and ensures data is backed up.
9. Informs manager regarding data errors.
10. Performs other tasks, as required.
