? Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment; ? Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility; ? Ensure loads are secure prior to transporting the materials in on the shop floor; ? Transport raw material to production workstations; ? Order and store shop supplies to maintain inventory level; ? Responsible for ensuring the shop floor is kept free from hazards and items are stored in the proper location; ? Deliver or route materials to other departments using material handling devices; ? Performing pre and post equipment inspections to determine the need for repairs and regular maintenance is being completed ? Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required; Requirements: Must know imperial/metric math. Ability to use a measuring tape Qualifications: ? High School diploma or equivalent with 1 - 3 years of forklift experience an asset ? Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required; ?
