Job description

Comfort Inn Kenora is seeking a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the overnight shift, assisting guests, completing daily reports, and ensuring the hotel operates smoothly and securely throughout the night.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, have good attention to detail, and possess basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email, and hotel computer systems is required. Previous hotel or customer service experience is considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform overnight audit procedures and complete daily hotel reports.
  • Review and verify guest accounts, payments, and transactions.
  • Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and general inquiries.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest requests in a professional manner.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Use hotel computer systems to update reservations and guest information.
  • Monitor the front desk and common areas during the overnight shift.
  • Complete basic administrative and computer-related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all required paperwork is completed.
  • Communicate any maintenance, safety, or guest concerns to management.
