Position Overview
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will support the refrigeration maintenance team by maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, including cooling towers and refrigerated cases. This role ensures equipment operates efficiently to support safe food handling and a high-quality shopping environment.

What You'll Do & How You'll Make a Difference
Complete preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems and components
Assess condition and performance of refrigeration equipment
Perform repairs on cooling towers, systems, and refrigerated cases
Respond to store maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues
Travel between store locations to perform maintenance and repairs

Support equipment operation to maintain food safety and product quality
Perform assigned maintenance tasks using established procedures
Maintain basic mechanical and electrical systems functionality

Use hand tools and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Required Knowledge:
Basic mechanical systems and equipment maintenance principles
Basic electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting
Familiarity with tools and testing equipment used in maintenance work

Skills & Abilities:
Mechanical aptitude with desire to work on equipment and systems
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Ability to work efficiently and complete assigned tasks

Licenses & Requirements:
Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
Ability to provide and use basic hand tools and electrical test meters

Physical Demands:
Standing for extended periods of time
Bending, twisting, and lifting regularly
Lifting 50 lbs and maneuvering up to 100 lbs
Working in refrigerated environments and coolers
Operating manual and electric pallet jacks

Work Environment:
Work is performed in retail store and maintenance environments.
This position requires frequent travel between store locations.
Work may include exposure to refrigerated environments and heavy equipment.
