Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant for Baseball. This position will assist the Head Baseball with daily operations of the UNG Baseball program. This position will include a tuition waiver.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily practice.
  • Assist with recruiting.
  • Assist with baseball game day management.
  • Assist with maintenance of baseball field as well as baseball portion of Coleman Fieldhouse.
  • Assist with community service activities.
  • Assist with fundraising.
  • Assist with analytical statistics and operations of technology such as Trackman and PlaySight camera system.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Head Baseball Coach regarding the baseball program.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Overall knowledge in the game of baseball.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Required Qualifications
  • Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate credit hours by start date.
  • Experience playing/coaching at the collegiate level.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications
