Now Hiring – Baseball Broadcaster for Zebulon Devil Dogz (Zebulon, NC)

Pay: $75/game | Part-Time | Seasonal (May–August 2026)

Location: Zebulon, NC (Zebulon Devil Dogz Stadium)

Be the Voice of the Zebulon Devil Dogz!

Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and skilled Baseball Broadcaster to join the Zebulon Devil Dogz for the 2026 season. This is a part-time, seasonal, game-day role covering all 34 home games. If you have a strong, clear voice and experience in broadcasting or public speaking, this is your opportunity to be the official voice of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Announce live game action for all 34 Zebulon Devil Dogz home games
  • Paint a vivid picture of the gameplay for fans in attendance
  • Provide real-time updates on at-bats, pitching changes, scoring plays, and in-game highlights
  • Follow directions and adapt quickly to last-minute changes typical of live events
  • Support other live-event duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Voice & Delivery
  • Strong, clear, and professional speaking voice with excellent diction
  • Ability to project energy, enthusiasm, and confidence in front of large crowds
  • Poised, charismatic, and comfortable speaking to fans
Baseball Knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of baseball rules, terminology, and game flow
  • Ability to anticipate and communicate game-related information accurately and promptly
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with broadcast equipment and public address systems
Professionalism
  • Composed under pressure
  • Able to take direction and adjust as needed
Availability
  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays for all home games
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience as a public address announcer, broadcaster, or emcee in sports or entertainment
  • Background in radio, communications, or voice work
  • Familiarity with Minor League Baseball operations or live sports events
SCHEDULE & PAY
  • 34 home games (May–August 2026)
  • 4–5 hour shifts per game
  • $75/game (paid weekly)
  • Availability for rain delays, doubleheaders, or special events may be required
PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent and sustained vocal use during games
  • Strong vocal control, enunciation, and volume projection over crowd noise
  • Seated work in press box for majority of game
  • Operate microphone and communication equipment
  • Maintain focus on the game, scoreboard, and cues from staff
  • Quick thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced, noisy environment
