Job description

Alpha Baseball is seeking a Hitting Coordinator to lead our hitting department. This is an opportunity to work with an established athlete base while helping shape hitter development in the Midwest through objective data, technology, and elite coaching.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the Alpha Baseball hitting department.
  • Develop hitters from youth athletes through collegiate and professional players.
  • Build, hire, mentor, and manage a team of hitting coaches as the department continues to grow.
  • Create and oversee a standardized player development system that delivers consistent, measurable results across all coaches.
  • Design individualized player development plans using HitTrax, Blast Motion, force plates, high-speed video, and objective performance data.
  • Analyze player data to improve swing efficiency, bat speed, power production, contact quality, and overall offensive performance.
  • Continue growing an already successful hitting program while delivering an exceptional athlete experience.
  • Collaborate with our strength & conditioning, pitching, and analytics departments to provide a complete player development model.

What We're Looking For
  • A proven hitting coach with a passion for developing athletes.
  • Strong understanding of swing mechanics and modern player development.
  • Experience utilizing baseball technology and objective performance data.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to recruit, mentor, and develop coaching staff.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to continual learning.

Why Alpha Baseball?
At Alpha Baseball, we believe in measurable development. Every decision is backed by objective data and industry-leading technology, allowing our coaches to provide athletes with individualized development plans that produce real results.
You'll step into an established department with an existing client base, collaborate with an elite multidisciplinary staff, and have the opportunity to lead the continued growth of one of the Midwest's most innovative baseball development programs.
If you're passionate about developing hitters, building coaches, and creating an elite training environment, we'd love to hear from you.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
