Job Summary
The Baseball Coordinator oversees our T-Ball and Coach Pitch divisions (ages 3-6) to ensure a high-quality introduction to the sport for our youngest athletes. You will bridge the gap between our mission and our families while providing hands-on technical support and mentorship to our volunteer coaches. From demonstrating fundamentals and assisting with drills to managing game-day logistics like field setup and scheduling, you will play an important role in delivering a safe, high-energy, and organized i9 Sports experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
  • Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
  • Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems
  • Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
  • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
Positions available at locations in Chesapeake, Suffolk and Virginia Beach, VA. Chesapeake and Virginia Beach t-ball and coach pitch programs are held on Saturday mornings. Suffolk programs are held on Sunday afternoons.
