As the strategic business partner to the General Manager and as a member of the North America Leadership Team, the Head of Commercial Excellence will play a central role in how the business plans, measures performance, allocates resources, launches products, and executes commercially across multiple channels and business units.
Working across Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, and the Business Unit leaders, this individual will design, build and continuously improve the commercial operating system that connects strategy with execution through commercial planning, forecasting, business analytics, operating cadence, and cross-functional alignment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Rapsodo North America plans, prioritizes, measures performance, and executes. As a member of the North America Leadership Team, you will influence strategic decisions, build the operating mechanisms that drive commercial excellence, and play a defining role in shaping the future commercial success of Rapsodo North America.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Strategy & Executive Decision Support
โ€ข Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and North America Leadership Team.
โ€ข Translate business performance into actionable recommendations and executive insights.
โ€ข Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and commercial performance reviews.
โ€ข Identify commercial risks, growth opportunities, operational constraints, and improvement initiatives.
โ€ข Develop business cases supporting strategic investment decisions.
Commercial Operating System & Business Governance
โ€ข Build, implement, and continuously improve the commercial operating system for North America.
โ€ข Establish the operating cadence, business reviews, executive dashboards, KPIs, and governance mechanisms that drive accountability and execution.
โ€ข Develop and maintain a single source of truth for commercial performance across the business.
โ€ข Improve reporting consistency, data quality, business visibility, and decision-making across functions.

Commercial Planning & Business Analytics

Requirements

โ€ข 10+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Excellence, Business Operations, Commercial Strategy, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, Business Planning, or related leadership roles.
โ€ข Demonstrated success influencing executive decision-making in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business.
โ€ข Ability to independently build financial models, scenario analyses, and channel-level performance views that support executive resource allocation decisions - not just oversee the work of analysts.
โ€ข Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience aligning commercial demand forecasts with inventory planning, product availability, or launch readiness within a consumer products, hardware, or multi-channel business.
โ€ข Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
โ€ข Experience supporting or analyzing performance across multiple commercial channels, including at least one of: Direct-to-Consumer, Retail, Amazon/ecommerce, or B2B distribution.
โ€ข Proven ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
โ€ข Experienced leading and developing small, high-performing teams. This role requires a player-coach mindset - equally comfortable setting direction, diving into the analysis, and presenting recommendations to executive leadership.
