This is a producing Sales Manager role. You'll be expected to personally sell and contribute to agency production while also coaching, developing, and holding our sales team accountable for results.
We're looking for someone who can lead by example—someone who knows how to prospect, uncover needs, overcome objections, ask for the business, and consistently follow up. Just as importantly, you need to be able to teach those behaviors and help other salespeople improve.
What You'll Do

  • Personally produce new business and maintain individual sales goals
  • Lead, coach, and develop members of the sales team
  • Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend appropriate insurance and financial products
  • Help team members improve prospecting, follow-up, objection handling, and closing
  • Establish clear expectations and maintain accountability for activity and results
  • Track individual and team production metrics
  • Identify performance gaps and provide hands-on coaching
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and development of sales team members
  • Help create strategies, incentives, and initiatives that drive agency growth
  • Partner with the agent on overall sales performance and business objectives
Who We're Looking For

  • A strong salesperson and a leader
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Competitive, disciplined, and highly accountable
  • Confident coaching others and having difficult performance conversations
  • Strong communicator who can motivate different personalities
  • Comfortable using metrics to manage performance
  • Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction
  • Coachable and committed to developing as a leader
  • Insurance or financial services sales experience strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Your compensation rewards both what you personally produce and what you help your team accomplish.

  • First 30 days: $45,000 annualized training salary
  • Day 31 onward: $55,000 base salary
  • Individual sales commission beginning day one
  • Quarterly bonus based on qualifying sales team production
  • Annual performance bonus opportunity
  • Paid vacation and personal/sick time
  • Health insurance after 3 months
  • SIMPLE IRA with company match
  • Licensing reimbursement after 3 months
  • Professional development, outside training, and coaching
  • Performance incentives and advancement opportunities
Total compensation varies based on individual and team performance and is not guaranteed.

Licensing
You must hold or be able to obtain the applicable Florida insurance licenses:
  • Property & Casualty (2-20 or 20-44)
  • Life & Health (2-15)
Our Team
We're a close-knit, positive, inclusive, competitive, and growth-oriented agency. We believe great leaders don't manage from the sidelines—they set the standard themselves and help the people around them rise to it.
Our motto is "Do it afraid." We value people who take ownership, challenge themselves, accept coaching, and are willing to have the conversations necessary to grow.
If you're a high-performing salesperson who wants to build people as well as production, we'd love to meet you.
