Role Overview:
Own the global strategy that drives how Genesys is discovered across search engines and AI powered answer platforms, shaping how millions of users find and engage with our digital experiences. This role directly influences pipeline growth, brand authority, and customer acquisition by elevating visibility across traditional search and emerging AI ecosystems. At Genesys, we are redefining how organizations connect with customers through AI driven experiences, and this position plays a central role in ensuring our content is surfaced, cited, and trusted across evolving discovery channels. You will operate at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and AI search innovation, partnering with global stakeholders to influence how Genesys shows up in both search results and AI generated answers. This is a high visibility role with direct impact on digital growth strategy, offering the opportunity to shape enterprise scale search programs and expand expertise in next generation discovery platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute a global SEO and GEO strategy that increases organic visibility, AI citation presence, and pipeline contribution across digital channels
  • Drive optimization of digital experiences for both traditional search engines and AI powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot
  • Lead keyword, topic cluster, and entity based research to expand content authority and improve discoverability across search and AI ecosystems
  • Influence cross functional teams to align on search strategy, ensuring consistent execution across web, content, product marketing, and regional stakeholders
  • Deliver technical SEO recommendations that improve crawlability, indexing, site architecture, structured data, and Core Web Vitals performance
  • Design and implement internal linking, on page optimization, and content structuring strategies that improve engagement and search rankings
  • Build measurement frameworks that quantify AI search visibility, answer engine performance, and overall GEO effectiveness
  • Analyze performance data across platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to identify growth opportunities and optimize strategy
  • Partner with content and campaign teams to create search optimized, AI friendly content that supports the full customer journey
  • Communicate insights and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders, influencing decisions that impact global digital growth

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content strategy, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO, on page optimization, content strategy, and search performance measurement
  • Strong understanding of Generative Engine Optimization and AI driven search platforms and behaviors
  • Hands on experience with enterprise SEO tools such as Google Analytics 4, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, website architecture, and technical SEO best practices
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross functional stakeholders and aligning global teams on strategy

Compensation:
