MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Building Automation Systems Representative located in Brecksville, OH. Our client is a building automation industry Leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems Representative to support the commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and service of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial facilities. This field-based role is ideal for a technician with experience in HVAC controls, system commissioning, and customer-facing service. The successful candidate will ensure systems are operating efficiently while providing exceptional technical support and documentation throughout project execution.

Responsibilities

Commission and start up Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems.

Load controller software and perform system configuration using commissioning tools.

Perform point-to-point verification, functional testing, and system diagnostics from controllers to field devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC controls, electrical, and mechanical system issues.

Calibrate sensors, actuators, controllers, and related building automation equipment.

Complete commissioning reports, startup documentation, and as-built documentation.

Maintain accurate daily reports, timesheets, and expense documentation.

Communicate project progress, technical findings, and recommendations to customers and project teams.

Identify opportunities to improve building performance and operational efficiency.

Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Travel to customer locations as required to support commissioning and service activities.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or technical/vocational training in HVAC Technology, Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Technology, Computer Technology, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience servicing HVAC controls or Building Automation Systems, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience commissioning, troubleshooting, or servicing commercial HVAC control systems.

Working knowledge of controllers, sensors, actuators, VAV systems, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and related HVAC equipment.

Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.

Proficiency using computers and HVAC-related software applications.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for local travel.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).

Familiarity with BAS communication protocols such as BACnet or Modbus.

Experience with commercial HVAC commissioning and startup.

Knowledge of energy-efficient building operations and facility optimization.

Previous field service or customer support experience within commercial buildings.
