We are hiring a skilled BAS Technician to support a highly respected mechanical and controls contractor serving the greater Philadelphia region. With more than 75 years of excellence, this organization is a trusted leader in delivering innovative building automation, HVAC controls, and energy management solutions across healthcare, federal, and commercial environments.

Position Details:
  • Title: BAS Technician
  • Location: Philadelphia, PA
  • Status: Full-Time | Hybrid Field & Office
  • Travel: Local travel for Philadelphia-area projects only
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience as a BAS Technician, Controls Specialist, or similar building automation role
  • Niagara N4 certification or equivalent hands-on Tridium experience required
  • Experience with JCI, Honeywell, Trane, or other major BAS platforms
  • Degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering preferred (or strong technical training background)
  • Solid understanding of BAS system architecture, HVAC fundamentals, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to write, adjust, and troubleshoot BAS control logic
  • Comfortable with I/T networking concepts and multi-system integrations
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and service building automation and HVAC control systems
  • Commission new BAS installations (startup, testing, and point-to-point verification)
  • Implement software/hardware updates, tune sequences, and adjust control logic
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and address urgent service needs
  • Support engineering and PM teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Assist with third-party system integration and networked BAS communication
