  • Deliver internal and external guest service. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable food and beverage service and always find solutions to guests’ problems.
  • Use the guest’s name when appropriate.
  • Welcomes and host “stoolies” and guests alike, including engaging guests in the Barstool Sports Bar experience which includes promoting Casino events and programs.
  • Converts guests to “stoolies” through ensuring a fun, professional atmosphere while promoting brand recognition and on-line engagement.
  • Operating a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounting for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedures; maintaining integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Assists with overall room functions by performing duties that include cleaning and resetting tables, menus, folding napkins and handing out customer comment cards as required.
  • Performs all duties in a polite, professional and responsible manner, including but not limited to immediately alerting management of guests who are intoxicated, unruly or disruptive, as well as strictly enforcing the minimum age policy.
  • Maintaining a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines

  • Read, write and communicate verbally and by writing in English required.
  • Perform basic math required.
  • Point of Sale, cash/credit handling experience required.
  • Understand and describe college and professional sports and sporting trends; predominant athletes, common sporting language and teams required.
  • Understand and describe the “Barstool Brand” (social media, apps, podcasts, etc) required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and all levels of employees.
  • This position requires working in a fast-paced environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, noise and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • This position requires work in an environment where guests have diverse interests grounded in Barstool culture.
  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout all work areas.
  • Ability to stand and walk while carrying a serving tray, weighing up to 25 pounds, throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to describe and upsell/suggestive sell specials, menu items, document and comprehend drink and food orders and communicate effectively to the kitchen and servers.
  • Ability to engage guests in college and professional sports, sports wagering and the “Barstool Brand” (social media, apps, podcasts, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cocktail ingredients, proper mixing and pouring techniques; beer styles, taste profiles and breweries required.
  • Ability to handle all checks and cash according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to understand and retain knowledge in menu items, ingredients, pricing, service standards, sports and sports betting language and protocols.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
