Job description

A plaintiff-side consumer warranty firm in Century City is seeking a California-barred attorney for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is especially well suited for newly CA-barred attorneys or CA-barred attorneys with experience in other practice areas who want to transition into litigation and build hands-on experience in law and motion practice.


What youโ€™ll do:

  • Draft motions, complaints, and other litigation documents using templates.
  • Support active plaintiff-side consumer warranty matters.
  • Use legal technology and software to assist with drafting and workflow.
  • Gain practical, accelerated experience in a fast-paced litigation environment.


What weโ€™re looking for:

  • Active California Bar license.
  • Based in or near West Los Angeles.
  • Open to attorneys with minimal litigation experience.
  • Also open to attorneys looking to pivot from another practice area into litigation.
  • Strong writing skills and interest in developing litigation expertise.

Compensation:

  • $50/hour during the contract period.
  • $135,000 + bonus upon conversion.
