Job description

We are looking for a REMOTE, CA-barred attorney to support a busy litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex, defense-side cases while building hands-on experience across multiple stages of the litigation process. This firm will entertain both junior and senior attorneys. The salary listed is entirely commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities:

  •  Managing toxic tort litigation matters
  • Attending depos
  •  Answering discovery
  •  Drafting pleadings, motions, pre-trial reports
  •  Performing risk analysis
  •  Reviewing medical records (though paralegals do most of this)
  • Negotiating settlements

• Experience handling discovery, including preparing responses and reviewing case information.

• Strong legal research, briefing, and analytical skills.

• Prior exposure to toxic tort or product liability cases is preferred.
