Are you passionate about working with horses and looking for an opportunity to put your skills to work in a professional and supportive environment? Hathaway Hill, located in beautiful Lebanon, OH, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented barn hand to join our team. If you have at least one year of experience and a commitment to providing top-tier equine care, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a barn hand at Hathaway Hill, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our herd. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safe Handling & Turnout: Safely handling and turning out the herd while maintaining a calm and secure environment.
  • Efficient Feeding: Ensuring the herd is fed promptly and according to their specific needs.
  • Stall Maintenance: Mucking and cleaning stalls to exceptionally high standards, ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of our horses.
  • Health Monitoring: Observing herd health, identifying any concerns, and promptly reporting them to management.
  • Facility Upkeep: Keeping aisles and common barn areas clean and well-maintained to uphold our professional standards.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with horses in a barn setting.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to handle physically demanding and fast-paced work.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for equine safety and care, ensuring every task is completed with precision and care.
