What does dog friendly mean in a job or workplace context?

'Dog friendly' in a workplace means that employees are allowed to bring their dogs to work. This policy is designed to create a more relaxed and enjoyable work environment, reduce stress, and improve employee satisfaction. However, there are typically guidelines to ensure that dogs are well-behaved, vaccinated, and do not disrupt other employees. Not all workplaces are suited for a dog-friendly policy, so it's important to check the specific company's rules before bringing a dog to work.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a dog walker, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Dog Walker, you need a good understanding of canine behavior, basic animal first-aid knowledge, and physical fitness, often supported by experience or training in animal care. Familiarity with pet tracking apps, scheduling tools, and safety equipment like harnesses and leashes is helpful. Patience, reliability, and effective communication with pet owners set standout dog walkers apart. These skills ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs, build client trust, and support smooth daily operations.
