Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Bather to join our BarkSuds family and pet grooming team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and animal handling services to ensure our furry clients look and feel their best. This role offers an opportunity to work in a pet-centered environment, supporting animal care and customer satisfaction through professional bathing and handling skills.

Duties

  • Bathing, drying, and grooming dogs of various breeds and sizes with attention to detail
  • Handling animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff
  • Assisting with pet care routines including ear cleaning, nail trimming, and coat brushing
  • Maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools and work areas in accordance with hygiene standards
  • Monitoring animals during grooming for signs of stress or health issues
  • Heavy lifting of animals or equipment as required to facilitate grooming tasks

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pet grooming, animal handling, or kennel work is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of dog training, pet sitting, or animal restraint techniques is advantageous
