How can I work with animals but not be a vet?

Guinea pig caretakers, animal shelter workers, pet groomers, and zookeepers all work with animals without being veterinarians. These roles often require knowledge of animal behavior, basic health care, and sometimes certifications or training in animal handling or grooming. They typically involve caring for animals, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their well-being.
