Location: Shreveport, LA and Bossier City, LA


Summary:

As a bank teller, you will be responsible for providing a variety of essential financial services. Your primary duties will include processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, and cash advances accurately and efficiently. You will balance daily transactions and verify cash totals to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will perform assigned side-jobs and assist other tellers as needed to ensure seamless operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that members receive prompt, professional service that enhances their banking experience.

This position is designed to provide support across multiple branch locations within the Shreveport/Bossier City, LA area. As part of the Teller Pool, you will play a vital role in maintaining smooth daily operations and delivering excellent member service across various branches. Once a full-time Member Service Representative (MSR) position becomes available, you will transition out of the Teller Pool and into that permanent role. While we cannot guarantee the specific branch or location, your permanent assignment will be within the Shreveport/Bossier City area.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of financial services and products provided by the credit union
  • General knowledge of bank teller policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software/systems
