Adult Psychiatrist | Addiction Medicine & Substance Use Disorders
Mesilla Valley Hospital | Las Cruces, New Mexico
Looking for a position that offers a strong work-life balance, a collaborative team, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in addiction treatment?
Mesilla Valley Hospital is seeking an Adult Addictions/SUD Psychiatrist to join our inpatient behavioral health team, providing care for adults with psychiatric and co-occurring substance use disorders.
Position Highlights
  • Focus: Adult inpatient Psychiatry, Addiction & SUD treatment.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule with daytime hours only.
  • Flexible daily workflow with the ability to leave after patient-care responsibilities are completed.
  • Caseload average: 13-15 patient encounters per day.
  • Call coverage: Once per week (phone only).
  • Weekends: Optional paid weekend coverage available.
  • Lead and collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Teaching opportunities with residents, fellows, and medical students through Texas Tech El Paso.
  • Employed or 1099 Independent Contractor options.
  • Leadership opportunity: Service line directorship available.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Negotiable base salary range from $350,000-$390,000.

Qualifications
