Loader Operator Summary
The Baillie Group's Cayuta, NY location is hiring for a Loader Operator. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our team as a first shift operator. The positions primary responsibility includes loading hardwood logs as well as moving logs in the log yard. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world class lumber company.
Loader Operator Pay & Benefits

Loader Operator Responsibilities
  • Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Keep up with log yard operations and process flow by loading/unloading material
  • Sort logs, load/unload logs, bark, chip and sawdust to and from truck, and feed the mill with logs
  • Ability to work independently
  • Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
Loader Operator Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an equipment operator using a knuckleboom or front end loader or similar machine
  • Knowledge of various hardwood lumber species a plus
  • Must be self motivated and organized
  • Willingness to work in an outside environment and work overtime
