Title: Barback, 10 South


Role Description: Support our bartenders by restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring seamless bar operations during beautiful weddings and lively events. Your behind-the-scenes efficiency helps create a smooth, enjoyable experience for guests celebrating at our venue.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down bar with liquor, plasticware, etc. according to event specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of the bar during the shift.
  • Learn the art of making drinks from the bartender including the importance of proper measuring, ingredients, how to find a recipe if you do not recognize the drink ingredients by name, how to properly serve the drink to the guests, and answer questions about the venue, including steps for tipping with Venmo.
  • Work with the bartender to learn how to serve beverages in a responsible manner according to Wisconsin state liquor laws and rules set in place by 10 South.
  • Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and, by working alongside the bartender fulfill drink requests accordingly.
  • In some cases, receive payment from guests and process/make change accordingly.
