The Banquet Bartender provides prompt, professional beverage service at club events, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining strict standards for accuracy, presentation, and compliance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation, bar operations, and sanitation standards
  • Familiarity with responsible alcohol service and applicable laws

Responsibilities/Duties
Event Bar Setup & Operations
  • Set up and stock banquet bars according to Banquet Event Orders and TPC standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout service, including ice, glassware, and supplies
  • Secure bar area and ensure only authorized staff prepare and serve alcoholic beverages

Beverage Service
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails accurately using standard recipes, measurements, and garnishing guidelines
  • Provide friendly, timely, and professional service to members and guests
  • Monitor guest consumption and follow all procedures for responsible alcohol service

Guest Experience & Compliance
  • Address guest questions and concerns courteously; communicate issues to supervisors promptly
  • Verify legal drinking age and ensure compliance with all State and Federal alcohol regulations and TIPS/R.A.M. guidelines
  • Refuse service to intoxicated guests and notify management as appropriate
  • Uphold TPC Brand Standards and all PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties policies

Closing & Financial Responsibility
  • Handle cash and process transactions accurately in accordance with company procedures
  • Close and break down the bar, reconcile inventory and consumption, and return unused product to storage
  • Clean and reset bar areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored

Additional Duties
  • Attend pre-event meetings as requested
  • Support banquet operations and assist team members as needed
  • Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned

Base Pay: $8.23/hour
Food & Beverage employees are eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of tips/gratuities
