Position Summary:
The Salad Bar Attendant is responsible for the daily setup, stocking, presentation, and cleanliness of the salad bar. This position ensures that all items are fresh, attractively displayed, and replenished in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, portion, and stock fresh vegetables, fruits, toppings, dressings, and other salad bar items according to established recipes and standards.

Ensure the salad bar is fully stocked, visually appealing, and well-organized throughout service hours.

Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation; promptly remove and replace items as needed.

Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper labeling, temperature control, and cleaning procedures.

Clean and sanitize the salad bar area, utensils, containers, and surrounding service areas regularly.

Assist with inventory management by tracking usage, reporting shortages, and reducing waste.

Provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions and assisting guests as needed.

Support kitchen and dining staff with additional tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

Previous food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
