Are you an experienced Restaurant Manager with a proven track record in high-volume, full-service environments and strong bar operations/Kitchen experience? Join a thriving, established restaurant in Salem, Oregon, where exceptional guest experiences, team leadership, and operational excellence drive success every day.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations for a busy full-service restaurant featuring a high-volume bar program. Location: Salem, OR

Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried

Compensation: Competitive base salary, strong performance-based bonus program, and excellent benefits package. Total compensation potential significantly higher for top performers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house and bar operations in a high-volume, full-service environment, ensuring smooth service during peak times.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff — focusing on training, retention, and creating a positive culture.
  • Manage bar program including inventory, beverage menus, pour costs, and compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
  • Drive revenue through exceptional guest experiences, upselling, and operational efficiency while controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.
  • Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health department and company policies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu execution, specials, and seamless FOH-BOH coordination.
  • Handle scheduling, inventory management, vendor relationships, and daily P&L responsibilities.
  • Execute pre-shift meetings, performance coaching, and guest recovery to maintain outstanding service scores.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4+ years of Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in full-service, high-volume restaurants (preferred: $2M+ annual volume).
  • Strong Kitchen background essential — experience managing high-volume bar operations, beverage programs, and mixology knowledge is a big plus.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, reduce turnover, and deliver exceptional guest service in a lively atmosphere.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financials: P&L, cost controls, budgeting, and inventory systems.
  • Food Handler’s and alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain in Oregon).
  • Passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a hands-on leadership style.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for a high-volume operation.

What We Offer – Great Base, Benefits & Bonus

  • Competitive base salary with performance bonuses tied to sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction metrics.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid time off, and more.
  • Career growth opportunities within a successful restaurant group or through our recruiting partnership.
  • A supportive environment with a focus on work-life balance where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.
  • Employee perks such as meals, ongoing training, and a fun, team-oriented culture.

This is a rare opportunity for a motivated Restaurant Manager to join a high-performing team in the vibrant Salem market. If you have the leadership skills, kitchen expertise, and drive to elevate operations in a full-service, high-volume setting, we want to hear from you!
