Job description

The Press Box Bar & Grill is looking for a dedicated, professional, and enthusiastic Bar Manager . The ideal candidate is positive, upbeat and detail oriented. The Bar Manager will assist the General Manager with the daily operations, hiring, training, and administration of the venue. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in craft beers, wine, and mixology. 
Qualifications:
-A minimum of one year experience working as a Bar manager in a fast paced, high volume, fine dining, or casual fine dining restaurant. This is NOT a senior management role. 
-An unparalleled commitment to hospitality and customer service.
-Able to communicate weekly specials/ sale items for the FOH/Bar 
-Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
-Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
-Strong knowledge of service, food, wine, and spirits, and the ability to train staff in all areas.
-Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.
-Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to multitask. 
-Willingness to grow and learn.
Duties:
-Work closely with management team to oversee daily 
operations in the front of house bar areas.
-Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and motivate staff. 
-Conduct and/or attend pre-shift meetings
-Open the restaurant and complete accompanying tasks efficiently, accurately and with a keen eye for detail.
-Abide by and uphold company policies, and standards as well as state sanitation/health regulations.
-Work in accordance with our mission statement, always promoting The Press Box Bar & Grill values. 
-Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment.
