The Bar Back/Porter in Octavia Bar & Lounge will support the Bartender.

  • High school diploma or GED is required. 
  • Must be at least 21 years old or older to work in a casino
  • Must possess speed, friendliness and accuracy of service. 
  • Must keep areas of responsibility neat and clean at all times. 
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. 
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
  • Works behind the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by bartenders and beverage servers.
  • Performs the service of replenishing stock and all cleaning required behind the bar.
  • Checks and maintains the required par stock on assigned station.
  • Obtains replacement stock from the dispensing room and/or warehouse in accordance with established procedures, maintains cleanliness and order on assigned station, assists the bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests' special requests, and during busy times, icing drink glasses and pouring non-alcoholic drinks. 
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Demonstrates Caesars' Spotlight 5 behaviors:  Initiates Friendly Greeting, Smiles and Makes Eye Contact, Demonstrates Upbeat and Positive Attitude, Checks for Satisfaction, Provides a Warm Farewell.
