We are looking to add a Registered Sleep Technologist at Baptist, located in at the Baptist Sleep Center in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity.

As the Registered Sleep Technologist, you will work under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. At Baptist, we specialize in advanced polysomnography care. You will be responsible for performing daytime sleep studies on adult and pediatric patients by preparing patients, waking patients up, scoring of the daytime sleep studies, with training in pediatric scoring of the sleep studies. Additional duties will include review of patients' charts to validate medical necessity and accurate testing.

As a Registered Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Polysomnography
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic services
  • Patient care
  • Education

Preferred Experience:

  • One-Two Years Polysomnographic Experience Required

  • Experience in Sleep Lab Setting Required

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RSPGT) - BRPT

  • Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, Stabilization Certification (PEARS) - AHA Preferred

Certification Note: PEARS Certification is Required within 90 days of employment.
