These positions can include banquet servers, banquet managers, setup staff, and bartenders. Employees in these roles are responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly, including preparing the venue, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service. Banquets staff often work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a banquet server?

To thrive as a Banquet Server, you need strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of food and beverage service, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
