Banquet Server
Part-Time

Introduction:
The high-volume Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, which serves George Washington's Estate's visitors and the Washington Metropolitan area, is currently seeking to fill Banquet Server positions.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is $2.13/hour plus gratuity. Average hourly wages typically range from $17.00 - $25.00/hour, inclusive of tips.
Position Specific Responsibilities:
  • Coordination and implementation of food service for banquets and private events
  • Responsible for guest/client relations

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of banquet server experience preferred
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Work Environment:
This role operates in a fast-paced dining environment with frequent interaction with guests and team members. Noise levels and activity levels may vary throughout the day.
