What does a banquet server do?

A banquet server is a member of a wait staff that serves food for catered events. Banquet servers set the table and buffets for service. During service, banquet servers take food and drink orders at tables, replenish buffet food, refill beverages, and help facilitate a smooth service. Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities help individuals stand out in this role. These skills ensure smooth event operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and contribute to a positive reputation for the hosting venue.
