This role operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of care delivery. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that may include psychiatrists, mental health counselors, and case managers, all collaborating to offer comprehensive care to our patients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental, emotional, and social needs of patients, utilizing evidence-based tools and approaches.
• Provide targeted psychotherapy to individuals experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adapting therapeutic techniques to best suit each patient's unique situation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring they are culturally sensitive and evidence-based.
• Monitor patient progress and actively adjust treatment strategies to respond to ongoing assessments and feedback, fostering an environment of improvement and support.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making and engagement in the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs) to track patient information and facilitate communication with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Adhere to ethical standards and privacy regulations, ensuring the confidentiality of patient information and securing informed consent for treatment.

The LCSW will primarily serve individuals dealing with substance use issues and related mental health conditions at our Detox Center, where the focus is on providing compassionate care in a safe environment. Patients may come from various backgrounds and face multiple challenges, requiring a nuanced understanding of their individual circumstances and mental health needs.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, with a demonstrable ability to work with diverse populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients and collaborate with healthcare colleagues.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs) and committed to best practices in documentation and patient care management.

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating mental health conditions in diverse populations.
• History of involvement in multidisciplinary team setups and an understanding of integrated care approaches.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
