What is Psychiatry Moonlighting Remote?

Psychiatry moonlighting remote refers to psychiatrists working part-time or on a flexible basis, typically outside their primary job, by providing psychiatric services remotely through telemedicine platforms. This allows psychiatrists to offer consultations, medication management, or therapy sessions to patients from different locations, all while working from home or any remote setting. Remote moonlighting can provide additional income, flexible scheduling, and exposure to diverse patient populations, making it an attractive option for many psychiatrists. However, it also requires adherence to state licensure requirements, telehealth regulations, and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
