Job Description:

This position is responsible for operating the rough cut machinery, maintaining the machinery, keeping accurate documentation, and handling material.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate the machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) as well as monitor and verify it is operating correctly at all times

  • Perform quality checks as required

  • Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan.

  • Responsible for set-up and operation of cutting machinery

  • Perform all required documentation and organization for material received, moved, scrapped, and quality verified

  • Responsible for the visual inspection of equipment with complex parts, preventative maintenance, as well as area upkeep and cleanliness

  • Operate overhead crane and forklift

  • Keep work area clean and organized

  • Cross-train on multiple types of equipment

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation

  • Ability to become certified in using an overhead crane

  • Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: Mechanically inclined is preferred

Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace preferred

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises

  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions

  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

  • Steel toed boots

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $22.66. Salary/Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
