Location: Houston, TX 77081
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20.00/hour ($41,600 annually)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Research Clerk to support our bankruptcy operations team. This position is responsible for reviewing, researching, and processing bankruptcy-related information while maintaining a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with detailed information and documentation, managing a high-volume workload, and conducting research to identify and verify relevant information. Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are important for success in this role.
Prior experience with bankruptcy processes, legal documents, financial records, collections, or administrative research is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process bankruptcy-related information and documentation.
  • Research bankruptcy records, cases, and related information using available databases and resources.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain information within internal systems.
  • Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Research and verify information from multiple sources.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information, or potential issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Process a high volume of work while meeting established productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow established procedures, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding research findings, documentation, and case status.
