Job Description
  • Job Title: Procurement Analyst (Buyer)
    Job Location: Plano, TX(Hybrid)
    Project Duration: 12+ months with possible extension
    Strategic Sourcing & Contracting
  • Develop and execute multi-year spend and category strategies
  • Lead sourcing initiatives (RFx events) ensuring competitive and compliant processes
  • Negotiate and execute contractual agreements including:
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Amendments, renewals, extensions, NDAs
  • Support professional services procurement
  • Drive cost savings, rebates, volume discounts, and innovation opportunities
  • Conduct supplier market analysis and manage Tier I & Tier II supplier engagements
  • Partner with business units to build strategic procurement roadmaps
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and financial/regulatory standards
  • Interpret and document contractual requirements clearly for stakeholders
  • Support contract renewals, terminations, and compliance monitoring
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Management
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders at all management levels
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and business partners
  • Facilitate planning meetings and ensure proactive communication
  • Educate teams on sourcing best practices and negotiation strategies
  • Identify continuous improvement (Kaizen) opportunities
  • Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in:
  • Strategic sourcing
  • Contract development & negotiation
  • Contract management
  • Data analytics
  • Experience supporting professional services commodities
  • Strong understanding of financial and regulatory compliance standards
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence across multiple management levels
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial services or banking industry experience
  • Knowledge of eMarketplace platforms and Ariba Spend Management
