Treasury Management Sales Officer

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Management Sales professional to join a growing financial institution. This is a relationship-driven, business development role focused on expanding commercial relationships, generating new deposits and fee income, and delivering treasury solutions that help businesses manage their cash flow more effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of treasury management products combined with the ability to prospect, develop new relationships, identify client needs, and close business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new Treasury Management business
  • Prospect and develop relationships with businesses, business owners, CFOs, Controllers and Treasury professionals
  • Partner closely with Commercial Lenders and Relationship Managers to identify treasury opportunities within new and existing relationships
  • Conduct comprehensive Treasury Management needs assessments
  • Recommend customized cash management solutions based on client needs
  • Generate growth in: Commercial Deposits, Treasury Management Revenue, Fee Income, New Commercial Relationships
  • Cross-sell Treasury Management solutions including ACH Origination, Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay / Fraud Prevention, Commercial Online & Mobile Banking, Lockbox Services, Merchant Services, Commercial Card Solutions, Liquidity & Cash Management Solutions
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospective and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Participate in joint calling efforts with Commercial Banking teams
  • Maintain strong relationships after the sale and identify additional opportunities as client needs evolve
  • Work with Treasury Operations and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience
  • Remain current on Treasury Management products, payment trends, fraud risks and competitive offerings
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Business Banking or related financial services
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, relationship management and business development
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Management and commercial deposit products
  • Proven ability to develop new business and expand existing commercial relationships
  • Comfortable prospecting and developing business independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Commercial Lenders and other banking partners
  • Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business owners and senior financial decision-makers
  • Established market relationships are highly desirable
