Job Summary and Qualifications

As a monitor technician, your work is vital with monitoring patients’ heart performance and checking for any abnormalities, such as irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest. Your position as a monitor tech, plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by consistently interpreting test results and reporting those results to the healthcare personnel team. Our monitor technician team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.   • You will routinely monitor patients, review patient charts, send charts after to medical records after discharge
  • You will have daily interaction with patients and other healthcare personnel
  • Consistently, accuracy and timeliness are extremely important in this role, you will be transcribing physician orders 100% of the time plus alerting nursing to STAT and NOW orders
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Minimum of one year acute care hospital experience preferred

  • Successful completion of arrhythmia interpretation class or demonstrated proficiency through testing
