7 or less years of experience, investment banking background and some tech background as well as corporate development background, preferably in M&A
Primary Skill Required for the Role: M&A Corporate, Strategic and Regulatory
• Deal Origination & Pipeline: Tracking inorganic opportunities, screening inbound CIMs, and prioritizing against strategic focus areas — primarily cloud-native SaaS, AI/ML tooling, and vertical software.
• Financial Modeling: Supporting acquisition models with consideration for SaaS-specific metrics like ARR quality, NRR, etc.
• Due Diligence: Coordinating and executing diligence across Legal, Tax, Finance, and Product workstreams, and managing external advisors (banks, legal counsel, consultants).
• Integration Support: Supporting post-close integration tracking for recently closed deals.
• Board & Executive Materials: Preparing transaction rationale and deal summaries for senior leadership and Board review.
