Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join our San Francisco office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers, founders, and investors on high-profile technology transactions.
As an Associate, you will play an integral role in executing M&A and capital raising transactions while developing deep sector expertise in high-growth technology markets. You will gain hands-on exposure to every stage of the deal process, including financial analysis, client presentations, due diligence, and transaction execution.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology, thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and are looking to build a career in technology investment banking.
Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain complex financial models including operating models, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, public comparables, and precedent transaction analysis)
  2. Support valuation discussions, high-stakes negotiation, and strategic positioning for clients
  3. Assist in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions across their entire cycles from pitch to close
  4. Coordinate diligence processes with clients, investors, and external advisors
  5. Support the preparation and review of transaction documentation
  6. Manage project timelines and ensure smooth coordination between all parties involved
  7. Prepare high-quality marketing materials including Executive Summaries, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), Management Presentations (MPs)
  8. Support senior bankers in client meetings and presentations

Your Experience
  • Masters degree with a finance or economics focus
  • Working experience being fully involved in M&A transactions, probably at a bulge bracket or boutique bank
  • Working experience involved in advanced financial modelling & valuation.
  • Microsoft Office skills and a basic understanding of accounting
