Job description


Under the guidance of the Manager, this position is responsible for production support of the organization's applications. As the primary point of contact, this individual is knowledgeable in all technical and operational aspects of the applications supported. This role involves resolving issues that arise, investigating solutions to problems, collaborating closely with business partners and vendors, and providing Information Technology (IT) support for organization initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as the first point of contact for resolving application-related issues.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots technical problems, working closely with business partners and vendors.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive solutions and improvements.
  • Analyzes application data and develop system improvements.
  • Provides IT support for organization-wide initiatives and projects.
  • Maintains documentation related to application configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Assists with application upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Conducts system integration testing for application changes.
  • Monitors system performance and proactively address any issues.
  • Provides on-call after-hours support.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in application support or administration.
  • Strong knowledge of application systems, databases, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with banking or financial systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
