Candidates must be based in Fairfield County, Connecticut  


Responsible for the administration of sales, service, operations, personnel, audit, and security activities of the branch to meet the Bank's objectives. Ensure adherence to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, assisting in the achievement of Bank goals and initiatives. This role has supervisory responsibilities for two or more employees and must have the ability to identify training and development needs. Prepare performance appraisals, recommend salary changes and render timely disciplinary action when needed.

  • Develops sales targets for Branch and communicates goals to the staff.
  • Manages the daily sales activities and delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Fosters an environment that inspires, motivates, and supports with hands-on leadership. Facilitates ongoing communication and branch meetings to improve productivity. Provides coaching and mentoring, while identifying training opportunities.
  • Create a team spirit environment throughout the Branch and motivate all employees to maximize sales.
  • Train staff to provide quality customer service to ensure retention and growth in all lines of business.
  • Develop a culture within the branch to ensure: the concepts of quality customer service, sales techniques, and goals. Ensure teamwork and adherence to the approved budget for the branch.
  • Participate in local community, civic and business organizations to establish the bank's presence, generating new business and cultivate referrals.
  • Ensure timely resolutions of customer issues or complaints.
  • Perform daily banking transactions using the TCR such as, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, maintaining and reloading ATMs, and requests for account information as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with Bank policies and government regulations.
  • Monitor Branch Operations to ensure adherence to sound systems and controls while achieving maximum operating efficiency.
  • Must be willing to work alternating shifts, including Saturdays.
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts including Saturdays and be willing to cover other branches when needed.
  • All employees are responsible for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and in some roles, OFAC regulations. Depending on your job responsibilities, more or less aspects of the regulations may apply, but at a minimum , all employees are responsible for reporting suspicious activity they identify in the course of performing their job duties. This includes activities conducted by customers, fellow employees, board members, and vendors.

  • Meet or exceed goals in previous positions and possess a solid working knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability and mentoring skills.
  • Strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.
  • Exceptional time management skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years banking management experience.
  • 2-3 years Bank supervision experience preferred.
  • Experience developing a network of referral sources.
  • Basic PC, MS Word and Excel.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in the banking industry.
